When you search on google for a free anti-virus software, you can’t miss AVG Anti virus. AVG provides a free anti virus software and is probably the most used one among the free ones. I spoke to the support of a major PC manufacturer and took an advice on windows software corruption.
He told me that virus is the biggest source of windows corruption. He specifically spoke about AVG anti virus free version. He said that people often use this and it is incapable of scanning the root files and other important files. It creates a mirror image and works on that. it also uses a lot of bandwidth once connected on internet.
So, if you are looking for a free anti virus, understand the limitations of the AVG Free version.

Like most of us, I used to use google as my primary and the “only” search engine. Over the years, I got lazy because google used to throw up the results which I want to see. It used to run my SEO practices for my website.
A few days back, I searched the keyword “India J20″ on my firefox. I saw my article on the top of the search result. After sometime, I was running an Internet Explorer friendly application on IE and I wanted to search the same keyword again for retrieving a particular web page. Here is where I received a jolt. My article was no where near the top. I tried that with a third browser and google, I got some other result. It was clear that google was working on my pattern of search and was showing me what it pleases me on my primary browser. On other browsers, it was little confused on what I wanted. On my friends computer, who is not interested in defence, the results were something else.
I tried the same keyword with Bing, Blekko etc and they taught me that “India J20″ does not Chinese J-20 aircraft at all. It means so many other things on earth.
The other day, Google claimed Bing copied its search results. Can Bing really copy google search results?

I use at least 4 browsers. It includes Flock, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. I used to have Opera, Amaya and Safari, but, they have not found favour with me.
I use multiple browsers in the era of tabs because tabs don’t allow multiple email accounts from the same provider. Secondly, Internet explorer is the default web browser for may forms and applications in India, especially by the government. Others are not supported. finally, browsers have various functions and errors that are not available in others.
Flock is good for social media, so it is usually running along with the main browser firefox. You watch twitter, facebook and other social websites on it. It cannot be used as primary browser as it has issues in some function, especially copy and paste.
Chrome being an entirely google browser and along with google search is a dangerous proposition, especially when there are reports of google collecting your private data. I use it sparingly. In fact everyone collects statistics.
In my personal opinion, firefox remains to be the best browser out there followed by Internet explorer.

A lot of you have not qualified for adsense, the highest rewarding program for bloggers and websites. Adsense policies are tough too. Some say chitika is a good alternative, but, it is good for US bloggers. In my opinion, infolinks.com could be best bet for Indian bloggers. The implementation is easy and it offers integration on blogger.com too.
Infolinks has few policy criteria’s like volume of text in your website, you should not click it yourself and no illegal content. Otherwise, it is as simple as it gets.
Even if you have a adsense account, apply for infolinks as you can run it with adsense and it can be as a fall back option.
The pay per click is as good as what you might probably receive from adsense.

If you would have been following the Egyptian Revolution, you would have observed another revolution being ushered on the internet. Here are my thoughts. You can follow your interest group. No Google or Bing is perfect enough for that. Google alerts turns out rubbish most of the times. What you will probably find in search engines would have been already tweeted unadulterated. Google would have applied its algorithms which it calls crown jewels, which a common man does not understand anymore.
Let me explain. Twitter does not has a search algorithm. Everything tweeted about Egyptian revolution comes on your screen by time. It includes perspectives, news and other articles links. But, had twitter not been there, Google would have dished out Washington Post, Newyork Times and other big sites and the smaller ones, where innovation lies would have been buried in the name of better search algorithm.
The most important factor is the Egyptian twitters themselves. We read first hand account from the Egyptian twitters. Had it been google’s algorithm, we would have never seen the revolution seeing the light of the day. Egyptians would have relied on blogs (usually with duplicate content) and their blogs would have never been seen. We would have been stuck with good old colored Reuters or CNN or even worse the egoistic BBC.
Google still serves its purpose, but it seems to be loosing. With 200 million Twitter users, everyone is increasingly turning to twitter when disaster strikes or there is a golden globe award.
