Hotmail revisited

First time I logged into internet was in 1998, and same day I created my first Hotmail account. The first email received was form Hotmail staff. Boy, I read and re read every word of it. I still remember the first look and some paragraphs from it. Then there was no stopping, next stop was yahoo mail, then Excite mail and so in. In ten days, I ended up with approximately 20 email id’s!

Then MSN took it over. We had MSN messenger attached with the account. Ditto with Yahoo. Then came the groups, then a host of other services. My email id’s bloated to 36. I had 2 in hotmail.

Somewhere down the line Yahoo became my key account. I had rationalised all my email id’s. .NET did nothing to revive my interest hotmail chat. Hotmail became too slow.

I just quit hotmail. I maintained 1 id in Yahoo. Got an google invite and made some accounts there. Google was slow loading, but yahoo account cumbersome. Yahoo chat did not appeal any more. Internet speeds increased. Google became the primary account.

I happened to end up in MSN live today. So, i clicked the hotmail link and tried to log in. I forgot my password. So, i couldn’t recover it. I created a new id. I was given the option of old and new options. I wanted to check the older look, it did feel like old times, but very fast.I then tried the new ajax services. The service looks fine.

Will I switch over to Hotmail as primary id?
